This is Upper Lake near Glendalough
Sarah, Desiree, Caroline, me, Rebecca, and James front and center with his eyes closed
It was a long 4-5 hour wait. We played card games,
and ate junk food,
I probably have the world's most attractive roommate in case you were wondering. Love you Desiree!
and danced!
I am posting the video of me dancing even though I have many other videos of my friends dancing but I didn't know if they would appreciate me posting them online. This is the tube dance. We perfected it waiting for the tube one day.
We tried some really strange cranberry cheese that James bought.
It was not terrible but cheese with cranberries in it... who thinks of these things? How bizarre..
Then we saw a lovely napping couple.
Yep he was basically face planted into her lap. It looked rather awkward.
But we made it through the night and into Dublin which really reminds me of a small town London.
Our first day we went exploring, seeing nothing in particular. But we did have good pub food that night which was fun.
The second day we walked down to Trinity College and walked around the campus for a bit.
It was sunnier those three and a half days in Ireland than it has been basically the entire time in London. We also stopped by Ireland's national museum (free of charge) and saw a neat exhibit on people who were preserved hundreds of years ago in bogs. Bog Bodies!
After the museum and a cheap lunch at Burger King we set off for the Guinness Factory. The first two floors were really neat and the process for how to make Guinness was cool. But, the Gravity Bar was on the 7th floor, and floors 3-6 were not very exciting. The Gravity Bar was entirely windowed with a beautiful view of Dublin.
After Guinness we found more cheap food and had a night in.
I may not be able to post about the last few days of Ireland until after I get back from Scotland because I'm leaving for Scotland tomorrow. Just over here staying busy!
In the meantime:

Wow, love the pics! Oh, and the dance was pretty awesome too. Will you teach it to me when we are there???
Great photos. So glad you are getting to Scotland too. The cranberry cheese was probably Brie as I have had their raspberry and brie. It was really good! Can't wait to hear about Scotland. Cute dance!
